Vasoactive Research Peptides
Vasoactive peptides act on blood-vessel tone, smooth muscle and the signalling systems that regulate them. The compounds in this category — including PT-141 (bremelanotide) and vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP) — are studied for melanocortin-receptor signalling, VPAC-receptor mediated smooth-muscle relaxation, and the crossover between vascular and immune regulation.
VIP is a 28-amino-acid neuropeptide of the secretin/glucagon family. It is expressed throughout the nervous, pulmonary and gastrointestinal systems and studied both as a vasodilatory transmitter and as an immune-calming signal. PT-141 is a cyclic melanocortin agonist that acts through central MC3R/MC4R pathways rather than directly on the vasculature; comparative mechanism studies use that distinction.
Every vasoactive peptide we stock ships lyophilized with batch-matched third-party certificates: HPLC purity, endotoxin, heavy metals and sterility. For research use only — not for human or veterinary use.
